Big Organ Trio
- Audio Recording, Photo and Video Policy
Audience audio taping is permitted at Big Organ Trio shows, unless
otherwise noted. Recording our performances encourages fan
involvement with the band, and we want our fans to be able to
share our live experience with others in the community. Please
adhere to the following guidelines if you wish to tape our shows.
Audio Taping
DAT, Audio Cassette, Mini Disc, and laptop recording are permitted
at shows for personal, non-commercial use only. Soundboard
feeds will not be allowed. Tapers are welcome to tape from
any location inside the venue as long as it does not obstruct
employees of the venue, audience members, or the band. Audio
recording is limited to portable equipment, which includes microphones
and a recorder. Power or other equipment are generally not
supplied, so be prepared to bring your own battery powered gear.
If you wish to tape, we encourage you to arrive early to
set up. The enjoyment of the audience in attendance at a
concert always takes precedence over recording efforts.
This means that at no time should tapers ever require other patrons
to be quiet or otherwise interfere with their enjoyment of the
show.
Video Taping
NO video taping or trading
of videos of the band will be allowed.
Trading/Duplication
All participants in audio recording exchange (regardless of format)
acknowledge and respect the copyrights and exclusive ownership
of the music and performances by the performers, writers and publishers.
All taping must be for personal use only, which may include
trading (via analog or digital tape, CD, or digital file transfer).
Recordings may be traded only for an equivalent amount of
similar media (cassettes or CDs, pre-recorded or blank).
If we have chosen to offer for sale (via physical media such as
CD, Cassette, or via Digital Download) a particular Big Organ
Trio performance, this "Official" version will take
precedence over amateur recordings and said performance can no
longer be traded. In no case may any officially released
Big Organ Trio recording (live or studio) be duplicated or otherwise
traded or offered.
Photography
Still photography is welcome and encouraged at Big Organ Trio
shows, unless otherwise noted. Please be mindful however of any
flash photography, as this can sometimes be distracting to members
of the band during the live performance. Big Organ Trio
has the exclusive right to reproduce any photograph for Internet
use, merchandise use, or general commercial use, unless otherwise
noted or prearranged between the Band and photographer before
the live performance begins. At no time may any photograph
be sold, auctioned or traded for any monies, without consent from
the Band. We encourage anyone taking photographs to share
their work through the Internet and/or the Big Organ Trio message
boards.
Web Sites
Big Organ Trio endorses the creation of fan web sites; however,
the images, audio, and video material found on www.bigorgantrio.com
and www.myspace.com/bigorgantrio belong to Big Organ Trio and
may only be used with the Band's prior consent. Please e-mail
us to request consent.
All Big Organ Trio performances and recordings
are the exclusive property of Big Organ Trio, all rights reserved.
Under no circumstances are Big Organ Trio live recordings
to be sold or traded for any monies. Anyone found violating
the taping/trading policy is subject to dismissal from concerts
and/or legal action. We reserve the right to withdraw our
sanction of recording, tape trading, and/or non-commercial digital
audio file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as
we deem necessary. No waiver of any copyright or trademark
right is intended.
When Big Organ Trio is performing at a festival or other event
featuring multiple bands, that particular event's policy may override
Big Organ Trio's customary taping policy. When Big Organ
Trio is opening for another artist, that particular artist's policy
may override Big Organ Trio's customary taping policy.
Please report anyone violating these policies to info @ bigorgantrio.com.
Thank You.
